Coast Guard trace 2 bodies of fishermen Late in the night of MAY 15


The Indian Coast Guard regional headquartered at Mumbai, received a telephonic message from additional commisioner marine, Mumbai regarding explosion on board fishing boat Ekveera Prasanna, off Harnai Port and that two of the four fishermen on board were missing .


The explosion reportedly occurred due to excessive heating of radiator. Fishing boat Lakshya Vedi in the vicinity saved two fishermen, who were shiftedv to local hospital by marine police. Coast Guard Ship Subhadra Kumari Chauhan on routine patrol was diverted to carry out search and rescue and concurrently, Coast Guard intercepted boat C-433 was mailed from Murad-Janjira in the early hours of May 16 to carry out search operation.
