Gold detected by CISF personnel in Mumbai


The CISF officials have done a remarkable detection in Mumbai. It was intimated that around 1310 hrs a pax namely Asharaf Sarvadaka PP No G 0674951, Indian, arrived from Riyadh to Mumbai by Jet Airways flight no 9w 05190 and was supposed to further to fly to Mangalore by flight no 9W 0447 came to frisking booth no 11 dom SHA of T2.

During frisking by ASI/E Manoj Kumar, the pax was detected with 02 nos of gold biscuit weighing around  232 gms (116×2) which he had concealed in an innovative manner in a specially created hollowed space in the trousers in the belt buckle area . The said pax was detained and handed over to AIU/Customs for further action along with the seized  02 nos of gold biscuit, passport and boarding pass. The app. value of the seized gold is Rs 6.33 lakh. This is an excellent detection by the frisker who had correctly referred the DFMD when the pax had crossed it
