Soon after being awarded imprisonment to Lalu in fodder scam in Ranchi by CBI special court, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) called meeting of senior party functionaries including MPs, MLAs, MLCs and block level leaders  in Patna and decided to distribute Lalu signed letter as leaflet to every household of state among all castes very soon.

This statewide campaign will be run as ‘Lalu Sandesh Yatra’ or ‘Nyay Yatra’. The workers of the party will play crucial role in this campaign. The campaign may start after Makarsankranti which will be followed by public meeting to be addressed by Lalu’s younger son and leader of opposition in Bihar assembly, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav.

To address party functionaries, Lalu’s wife and former CM Rabri Devi appealed to party workers, “let hand down” the message of  Lalu Prasad to every household in state. Party is in the crisis and whenever party came into crisis, all became united. Opponent forcibly sent Lalu Prasad to jail, so that voice of deprived section may be suppressed.”  However, Rabri suggested to keep away from violence and run campaign totally in civilized and quiet way. Rabri also added, ‘RJD is not a party but a family for us.’ Senior RJD leader Jagdanand Singh read the letter of Lalu in the meeting.
